Where to Capture the Shot can be a difficult one especially if you are not sure Where to Go.
One thing about the Scottish Highlands is that there are some great photos to be had and it would be great to have a guide by your side to tell you where and when to get that Camera out. Sadly that is not the case as you will be all on your own, you are your own guide, so you need to get it right.
Here at Scotland’s Route 66 we love making Maps and someone asked us to make one so they knew where to find the best places for a great Shot.
Great idea and that is exactly what we did.
The Places marked on the Map are ‘Our’ Choices of what we consider a worthwhile stop to grab your camera and get a terrific photo.
Everyone has their own idea of the ‘Perfect Photo.
Some Love the Wildlife and we have plenty of that in the Highlands.
From the Wonderful Birdlife, you may just catch a glimpse of a Golden Eagle or puffins, razorbills, guillemots, fulmars and kittiwakes.
Those who live on the Land, from the Deer to the Stag to the Heilean Coo to a Sheep, there are plenty waiting to smile for you.
At sea, you can venture out on the many cruises to capture the sea life of the Seals, Dolphins and even Killer Whales to name a few. All close up and Personal.
The list goes on and on as there really is so much out there.
Golden deserted Beaches, Historical Castles, Prehistoric Cairns and even a selfie or two with some of the best stunning Back Drops imagainable.
Our Map, like all, are Maps are never completed. We always update and continue to ensure they are as up to Date as any Map available.
Where is your favourite place for that Perfect Shot, if it is not on the Map feel free to mention it in the comments and we will add it to the Map.
We Wish you well and hope you manage to capture at least one memory-filled, Perfect Shot…
